The content on this website reflects my personal interests and opinions only. It is entirely unrelated to my professional role as a psychiatry resident or to any institution I am affiliated with. Nothing here constitutes medical advice.

Contact & data use

If you reach out by email, I will only use your address to reply to your message. I won’t store it, share it, or use it for any other purpose.

No analytics, no tracking

There is no analytics on this site. No tracking scripts, no advertising pixels, no third-party embeds that phone home, and nothing that follows you to another site.

Storage this site does use

Browsing sets a small amount of functional state, all of it first-party:

  • a preferred_lang cookie, so the site stays in the language you picked. One year, SameSite=Lax, never leaves this domain.
  • localStorage keys for your theme and language preference, so the page does not flash the wrong colours before it loads.
  • if — and only if — you post a comment, the comment system sets a short-lived session cookie so you can edit or delete what you just wrote.

None of these identify you, none are shared with anyone, and clearing your browser data removes all of them. Because each one exists purely to carry out something you asked for, they are exempt from consent requirements. That is why there is no cookie banner.

Comments

Comments run on Isso, self-hosted on my own server. Nothing is sent to a third party. When you post, it stores your comment text, the name you chose to type (optional — leave it blank and it stays blank), and a hash of your IP address for abuse handling. The raw address is not kept. Comments stay up until you or I remove them; ask and I will delete yours.

Contact form

The contact form stores your message, the email address you give, your browser’s user-agent string, and a hash of your IP address. I use the email address to reply and for nothing else. If an IP has to be blocked for abuse, that one address is stored in full so the block can be enforced.

Artificial intelligence

Every word written on the website is mine own. I don’t copy-paste LLM outputs, nor do I paraphrase them. For coding, however, I use CLI coding tools intensively, and have been doing so for at least 2 years now.
